Hamilton Computer Science students Iris Izydorczak, and Kerry Wang, and Shraddha Datta, presented on November 2nd at the Twelfth New York Six Undergraduate Research Conference at Hamilton College in Clinton NY.
- Iris, a Mochi Researcher, presented new research on DriveGroups, titled “Facilitating Data Sharing with DriveGroups: A System Overview.”
- Kerry, a senior in Computer Science, presented a poster on original research conducted with Dr. Strash titled “Finding an Efficient Minimum Dominating Set Solver.”
- Shraddha, a senior in Computer Science and Anthropology, presented research conducted with Dr. Chaise LaDousa titled “Using Technology for Good: A Qualitative Study on the Role of Hamilton College in Reproducing Technology-based Ideology.”
The New York Six Undergraduate Research Conference is a regional research conference held by the New York Six Liberal Arts Consortium (which consists of Colgate University, Hamilton College, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Skidmore College, St. Lawrence University, and Union College). Students from all New York Six member institutions participate by giving oral or poster presentations at the conference.
